About Us
Dear Devotees,
Greetings.
Our brand has officially changed its name from MingalarBuddha to MingalarThukha.
Mingalar means auspicious blessings and good merits. We retain this familiar auspicious word to carry forward our original aspiration. Our former name, MingalarBuddha, represented our sincere reverence for the Buddha. As our community of devotees continues to grow, we have come to understand that meritorious deeds extend far wider. Making offerings to the Buddha is merit; caring for elderly family members is also a vital virtuous act. Donating alms and sharing merits is a precious practice in Theravada Buddhism. No longer limited to devotional utensils and ritual supplies, our platform now also carries daily goods for the elderly. We have added a channel for alms-giving donations, enabling devotees to accumulate merits and share their merits through dedication. With humble and reverent hearts, we adopt the new name MingalarThukha, which means auspicious blessings and peaceful bliss.
MingalarThukha is an online community platform for devotees.
- We provide devotional altar supplies and ritual offerings, with group-buy offers for devotees to acquire pure devotional items.
- We also supply daily necessities suitable for elders, supporting you in practising the virtue of caring for seniors.
- We offer alms-giving donation services. Devotees may make donations via our platform and share & dedicate merits. Per Myanmar tradition, after making alms-giving, one need not keep merits solely for oneself. You may dedicate merits to relatives, ancestors and all sentient beings, so all may partake in these blessings.
- We host a blog section where devotees can share reflections on Dharma, stories of alms-giving to monks, experiences of caring for elders and donation journeys.
- Earn points by submitting your stories. Points can be redeemed for devotional supplies and elderly care products.
As upheld in Myanmar tradition: making offerings to the Buddha, honouring parents, and practising generosity towards others are noble meritorious deeds. This platform is not merely for selling goods. We seek to gather wholesome connections, so you may respectfully make offerings to the Buddha, care for your elders, practise alms-giving freely and share merits in daily life. May peace and bliss come to you and all beings.
⚠️ Important Notice: With this name change, all platform services and products remain unchanged. There will be no disruption to your usage.
Thank you for your long-term support and companionship. May all devotees stay safe and joyful, and may your merits flourish.
Team MingalarThukha
